On Saturday 16th of May, the Riverstone and District Lions Club, Camwest and GK Youth ran a group bike ride called, "Ride to Riverstone". The bike ride started from Rooty Hill Train Station and followed a 29 kilometre route through the M7 motorway bike path, various local roads and eventually ending at the Riverstone Festival.

GK Youth assisted during the day as being route marshalls on the route from Sunnyholt Rd. Starting from the M7 entry/exit point on Sunnyholt Rd, GK Youth helped to direct the bike traffic along the bike path in the right direction, and assisted in making sure the cyclists can cross safely when crossing busy intersections.

Upon reaching the Riverstone Festival, the cyclists were able to look around and enjoy the festivities of the day, including the festival parade, various stalls, activities and rides.

While at the Riverstone Festival, GK Youth had an information stall where many visitors to Riverstone, both young and old could learn about GK and the work GK Youth has taken part in, not only locally but overseas, such as GKYGAT to the Philippines or Papua New Guinea.

Other groups of volunteers for the event included Alpha Phi Omega (APO) and Rural Fire Services (RFS). Around 50 cyclists participated in the event and all cyclists expressed a lot of gratitude for all the volunteers that helped in the event.
