Last 27th April 2007, the Alpha Phi Omega Incorporated (APO Australia)
and GK ANCOP Australia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding its project to establish an APO Australia GK Village at GK St Jude, Paranaque, Philippines.
Over the last few months, APO-Australia launched and sponsored the GK Young Ambassador Project which allowed young advocates to be involved in organizing their own GK events, selling tickets and raising awareness for GK.
This years GK Young Ambassadors include several children from Sydney that are helping to raise funds for the APO multicultural village. Josie Musa, deputized to chair this program stated that the project has been a challenging but exciting task and the participants, together with their parents and relatives have continued to truly display their passion in helping the poor.
The GK Young Ambassador Project Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday, 16th December at Quakers Hill Community Centre, 3pm. People are encouraged to show their further support and appreciation for the GK Young Ambassadors by purchasing tickets for this event. Tickets are only $5 each.
APO Australia has been a proud partner of GK ANCOP Australia in the last few years. They have held numerous GK events such as the Dance Revival Night and also have their own APO Australia GK Collab Program. APO Australia will be celebrating its 82nd Anniversary this month.
