Only a week left till City2Surf and less than 20 days (last donations due Aug
20) to reach our $30k target! Thank you to those who have supported the
GK ANCOP team. Please find the financial report for last year's
fundraised amounts. If you are unable to participate this year then
support us by sponsoring a team member (listed below). To date our team
has raised $2,721 online and estimate of $400 offline (from runner's
manual update). Thank you for your generosity! Please pass this news on to
other GK supporters.
Proceeds of last year’s C2S4GK were spent for the following:
1. 13 houses ( 9 to GK Adela and 4 to GK Sicsican, A$25,000).
2. 5 houses for GK Tatalon . A$10,000
3. The donations for the 20 houses in GK Sibugay had to be augmented due to
the
construction price higher han the $1,700 donation per house. We estimate
that the
augmentation per house is about A$210, hence the total augmentation is
A$4,200.
4. Educational Sponsorship for GK Bagong Silang . A$800.
Total = $40,000

It's that time of year once again….the time for us to have some fun, get
fit make a difference!
Last year, for the first time, over 70 GK Heroes took part in the
Sun-Herald City to Surf, over 100 supporters generously supported
monetarily and cheered on the group and GK ANCOP became the top fundraising
team online for 2007!
This year, GK City 2 surf is back and will be actively running and raising
funds to help make a difference!
Whether you're a pro or a beginner, we're inviting you to join the pack and
have some fun!
Step 1. Online Registration with Sun-Herald City to Surf
Online registration is now open http://city2surf.sunherald.com.au/start.php
Please note that the registration payment required is part of the
Sun-Herald City to Surf 2008.
Simply enter your details but make sure to specify the details below:
Group start: If you want to run/jog lightly, most people join the Blue
start. If you can only walk and want to take it easy or want to carry some
props, you can choose the Back of the Pack
Select Team: You can type in GK ANCOP or select team and choose GK ANCOP.
Step 2. Fill out C2S4GK form
(Please note, official registration form for C2S4GK and fundraising kit
will be sent out to those who fill and send details below.)
