We would like to invite you to the 4th GK1MB Bayani Challenge. The theme for this year is "Only for the Brave". This year's Bayani Challenge will be held in Zamboanga City and Sulu. Please take note of the following dates:
20 March 2009 - Deadline for Registration
12 April 2009 - Briefing for Sulu Participants (Zamboanga City)
13 April 2009 - Arrival of Zamboanga Participants (Zamboanga City) and Sulu Participants (Sulu)
17 April 2009 - Concert/Culminating Activity
18 April 2009 - Highway of Peace 2009
The GK1MB Bayani Challenge is not about adventure. It is challenging ourselves to go beyond our comfort zones so we can make a difference in the lives of others. This year, we hope to bring people of different faiths and backgrounds together from all over the world to make a statement that we are all brothers and sisters. Let us not be defined by our fears and apprehensions but rather let us focus on what we hope to achieve – a better Philippines, a future full of hope.
This year's theme "Only for the Brave" is a question for everyone: "Are you brave enough to love?" and your presence will surely build the friendship that will pave the way for peace. Join us in this journey of building a nation and be part of history.
